Connect an agent whenever you want to type `@@` and get an answer back.

`@@` works in any editable, non-secure text field on your Mac: native apps, and text fields in the browser such as a Google Doc or a reply box on X. Password and other secure fields are never read, so it stays quiet there. Selection actions appear in apps that expose mouse selections to macOS.

History, clipboard data, copied attachments, and settings stay on your Mac by default. Optional iCloud Sync is off until you enable it separately on each Mac; it uses your private iCloud container and iCloud Keychain, never an AtAt server. AtAt provides no capture cloud library. Copies kept in Favorites or attached as images to Session History join optional sync; enabled extensions can also process captures with the required access. Agent requests send prompts, supported attachments, and tool results to the provider you choose. Enabled extensions may also process or send content using their granted access, and link previews contact linked sites. Siri AI runs on-device; Ollama connects locally, with any further traffic depending on your Ollama configuration and tools used during the task.

No. Prompts and context go directly from your Mac to the CLI, API provider, Ollama service, or Apple model you choose. A remote provider still handles what you send under its own privacy policy, but AtAt never sits between you and your agent.

Usage reporting with a random installation identifier is on by default and can be turned off during setup or in Settings. The identifier associates events from the same installation until reporting is turned off. Reports contain fixed events, categories, counts, and timings—never prompts, file names, clipboard contents, captured pixels, OCR text, or agent output. Turning it off deletes queued reports and the random installation ID.

AtAt requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later. Liquid Glass controls require macOS 26 or later; macOS 15 uses standard translucent controls. Siri AI requires macOS 26 or later and an available Apple Intelligence model, so it is grayed out and disabled on macOS 15. Other providers follow their own setup and model requirements. You grant only the system permissions needed by the features you use: Input Monitoring for the `@@` trigger, Accessibility for reading focus and inserting results, Screen Recording for captures, Finder Automation for Finder context, and Microphone access for recordings with audio.
